Were you wondering what the stickers that MMS students were wearing over the last few days indicated?

During the week of December 7-11, MMS students collectively wrote 38,400 lines of code in their tech ed. classes. The Hour of Code is a global movement reaching tens of millions of students in 180+ countries. 195,686 Hour of Code events have taken place around the world.

Ms. Letendre, Mrs. McMahon and Mrs. Cabral worked collaboratively to provide 320 Martin Middle School students with one hour of code.

Launched in 2013, Code.org® is a non-profit dedicated to expanding access to computer science.  Code.org’s vision is that every student in every school should have the opportunity to learn computer science. We believe computer science should be part of core curriculum, alongside other courses such as biology, chemistry or algebra.
